Comedian/Writer/Fool

A former newspaper reporter/columnist, Ben San Del emcees and features at comedy clubs and colleges throughout the region. He won Acme Comedy Co.’s Funniest Person in the Twin Cities Contest in 2006 and has written and performed three hit one-man shows for the Minneapolis Fringe Festival: "Mittens for Fat Kids,” "Strawberry Fields Temporarily," and “Animal Cracker Genocide."

His fourth Fringe show, “A Nice Guy’s Guide to Awkward Sex,” will debut Aug. 6 at the Minnesota Fringe Festival.

Ben is also a member of the Twin Cities performance troupe Rockstar Storytellers.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press has called his performance "sharp, with perfect pacing," and the City Pages has called him a "reliably on-target stalwart."
